East Highlands Home Gets A Modern Facelift
Seeking to give their Scottish Highlands home a fresh new look, the owners of a charming property in coastal Brora searched online for a trusted local window and door specialist.
After spotting ERG Scotland through Facebook, they spent some time looking into our past work and client reviews. Impressed by our verified craft and experience, they reached out to request a quote for replacing all their windows alongside a brand-new front door.
From our very first conversation, it became clear the homeowners had a strong vision for the project. Of most importance, they wanted to preserve the character of their original stained-glass design in the new frames.
Our team visited the property to take precise measurements and talk through the best ways to bring that vision to life. Recreating the exact design and colour of the stained glass involved close collaboration between the homeowners, our surveyor, and the manufacturer. We wanted to be certain every detail was spot-on before anything went into production.
We also guided them through custom options for their new composite door. While the house originally featured classic white frames, exploring our colour range inspired them to choose Chartwell Green. The soft, cool tone perfectly complements the property’s Scottish heritage while adding a warm, welcoming kerb appeal.
The installation took just one week, and the results have completely transformed the home’s exterior. The standout feature is the vibrant new front entrance, complete with an etched glass top light and twin stained-glass side windows featuring a beautifully modernised tulip motif.
