SURVEYING
Every job begins with a survey. This allows us to accurately plan the job at hand and provide the correct details to our manufacturing and installation teams.
A survey will also allow us to check on structural openings and surroundings to ensure that the proposed work is suitable to go ahead.
CARE & ATTENTION
To protect your home from damage, our ERG installers will lay dust sheets where required. We’ll also help you move your all-important valuables and other items to prevent them from being damaged or getting dusty whilst the work is carried out.
Crucially, we’ll always leave your house as we found it. Before we mark any job as being complete, we’ll clean up any mess and debris – it’s the last task on our checklist!
FITTING
All existing frames will be removed and recycled. We’ll also clean off any old sealant and other materials on your brickwork to ensure a clean working area.
Then, your brand-new window frames will be carefully installed by our expert ERG fitters.
GLAZING
Glazed units will be carefully handled and fitted in position before the beading is tapped into place to hold the glass in position. If trims are required, these will be measured and installed.
To complete this process, both the window frame and the glass will be thoroughly cleaned to remove any residual dirt and grit, before the sealant is applied between the frame and the wall.
EXPERT FINISH
To complete the job, our installers will clean down all external surfaces before applying a layer of silicone beading between the frame and brickwork to ensure a water-tight finish.
Then, when it’s all done, you can stand back and marvel at your new ERG windows!
