Our porches are far from plain! You can have a UPVC porch in one of a number of very eclectic colour choices and we apply the finish via our specially developed paint process. This process is something we have employed for many years as we know that it helps to make our finishes look fabulous. In addition to white and black, you can also select colours such as Cream and Chartwell Green.

You won't need planning permission to add a porch to a front door, back door or side door on your house as long as:

• its footprint (the total floor area it takes up) is no greater than 3 square metres
• there's at least 2 metres between the edge of the porch and any boundary facing a road
• it isn't taller than 3 metres
• it isn't within a conservation area
